I just realized I wasn't defining 'Autonomous Vehicle' in a correct way:

The difference is I was referring to the driver of the car or the pilot of the plane (whether that pilot was on board or not or on board the car or not) as giving over control to the Autonomous vehicle that is on air or land or sea or Space.

However, I realized last night that a fully "Autonomous vehicle on land or sea or Air or Space" is completely self actuating.

For example, once given the command to take off when it is woken up parked at an airport or landing strip it completely does everything from waking up taxiing into the runway, taking off, flying through the air, shooting a missile if it is a predator drone, flying back to it's airport and landing "WITHOUT the NEED of HELP of ANY human being.

So, for an autonomous car there could be no one on board and no one telling it what to do once it woke up and starting doing things. Likewise the same would be true of any "Autonomous vehicle" in space, or on land or in the water or in the air.

So, maybe what I was defining is a Semi-Autonomous Vehicle where you can have it fly or drive for you in some kind of Autopilot mode sometimes but basically a human is on board and in charge of this vehicle in Air or land or sea or space.
