It was sometime between 2019 and 2020 I believe because she was married by then and her husband and my wife came with us for this event. It reminded me a lot of Religious cults one saw a lot of in California in the 1960s and 1970s the way people were really zealots.
They had people from the CIA who were Trumpers and extreme in their ideas. I made sure not to share my ideas in this context because some of the things one of the ex-CIA agent said were sort of violent in nature and threatening in nature. However, I wasn't there to change minds I was just there to observe and that's all. After all, the last UFO Conference I went to at Giant Rock Airport was in the Fall of 1969 when people flew in in their private planes from all over the country for that event and Hynek spoke at that event. It says here that Dr. Hynek died in 1986 after consulting with Steven Spielberg regarding close Encounters of the Third kind a few years before this.
I think the UFO Conference was just before Covid Hit so it had to be 2019 or 2020 either 4 or 5 years ago now.
Anyway, I learned a lot of interesting things at this Ventura UFO conference but mainly I learned the people there were a lot like a religious cult for the most part and they tended to be Trumpers too for some reason. Which on one level makes sense because people more to the right often are into Conspiracy theories too.
When I was growing up I grew up in a Mystical Christian Cult that believed in UFOs by the way. It was interesting to me that there were so MANY military officers from the U.S. Air Force, Army and Navy and Marine Core etc. that were members of this Christian Cult. Most of them were World War II Army veterans who might have seen real UFOs then that they called "Foo Fighters" but weren't allowed to talk about them while they were serving in the military because such things were top secret on penalty of death then. It might still be this way in some circles of the Government still despite what people say otherwise.
