It was 48 degrees Fahrenheit which is cold for April last night but it has made it up to 58 degrees so far here on Northern California Coast

Because it's mostly sunny I can blog outside on an outdoor glass table that allows a beach umbrella in the center for the shade on my deck in the backyard overlooking roses and pine trees and oak trees and Ceanothus. And because of the way this house was built it protects us from the winds which are now about 9 mph off of the ocean within a mile of us. Often you can hear the Sea Lions if the winds and conditions are right barking where they hang out on bigger rocks along the beaches here.

However, today is beautiful and sunny mostly with just a slight wind of 9 mph that one gust almost ripped my beach umbrella out of the hole in the center of the glass table I'm blogging on with my laptop computers.

But, since the snow levels came down to about 1000 feet nearby us in the last 3 or 4 days especially Thursday and Friday, it's not surprising that it is so cold at night since the storm that hit us was from the north in Alaska and not a Pineapple Express from near Hawaii which come up from there from the South West of here by way of the Pacific Ocean
