Healing can come through Writing, music, Art, Traveling, visiting friends etc.
So, one of the ways as a mostly retired person that I keep on healing myself is to continue writing. I write to heal myself and I write to heal others too. By healing yourself often you are also healing the people around you. By helping others heal often you are healing yourself too.
My parents studied Jin Shin Jyutsu which is a form of accupressure which predated Accupuncture in China. Mary Burmeister's father was from Japan and was dying of something and he went to China as a last resort and brought back to Japan Jin Shin Jyutsu and then after World war II Mary Burmeister married an American Soldier and brought it to America and taught my parents and many others.
My first experience with it was at age 12 when I had hurt my neck playing football tackling and being tackled and I kept passing out (likely from a nerve pinch in my neck). (fainting).
So, after I was singing in the choir and passed out and my father had to catch my head before it hit the linoleum behind the Choir Riser 4 feet below us (he was singing next to me and we both were singing Bass) in church at the time.
After this near death experience my father and mother took me to see Mary Burmeister in 1960 when I was 12 and when she opened up the nerves in my neck through accupressure I saw many colors mostly greens and blues swirling about my head as my nerves relaxed and the nerve pinch went away.
So, this was my personal first experience with Jin Shin Jyutsu from Japan and China through Mary Burmeister from Japan who was by then an American Citizen.
