Imagine you were living in a cave and didn't know anyone or talk to anyone. This might be the best way to represent humanity now in some ways. Then you met someone who knew everyone on earth. So, you went from knowing no one (like a tribe in Peru in South America recently found for the first time) to knowing everyone on earth. This is sort of what it can or could be like Interfacing or interacting or intercommunicating with AI and asking the questions you might want the answer to.
You might say to me: "Well. I can already find out anything I want to know with my smartphone if I have enough data or wifi to do this." and Yes, this is also true. In fact, I would say that your fact you get from your smartphones are similar in some ways to the predictions you get from Artificial Intelligence too.
But, the main difference is that Artificial intelligence is more like say Siri that you can talk back and forth to or ask it to do things for you. Artificial intelligence is not as limited as Siri in what it could originally do.
And as you learn about what could be in your life it is sort of like expanding your life and possibilities when you combine the facts of a smartphone online with the predictions of AI online.
Predictions of AI (since it is often based upon a weather forcasting model of predictor variables used in the weather) is useful in another way. It's sort of like asking: "What is the probability in my life of almost anything?" This is how to approach what Artificial Intelligence actually is.
There are facts from your smartphone and then there are predictions (which may or may not come true) from AI.
It's sort of like you might wake up one day and look out and think: "Oh. It might be a good day for the beach. Then you might ask AI about going to the beach and it might say:" Oh. yes. probably good but foggy in the morning there so take your wet suit along with your surf board so you don't get cold." Or it might say: "Yes. but remember there have been great white shark sightings lately at that beach too so beware of that potential too."
These might be the type of conversations you might have with AI in the future if you like to surf at the beach.
OR if you are a farmer you might ask AI: "Is today a good day to plant corn or beans or strawberries?"
And it might tell you what it thinks given many variables in place.
Does AI know exactly what is going to happen next in your life? NO.
No one knows that. But, it might be able to give you enough variables regarding almost anything where you might be able to make better decisions in your life regarding almost anything by preparing for things you weren't aware of that it is aware of as of right now.
