The Ocean is like a solar battery heated by the sun and the blue or green water can absorb much more heat than ice can and store it

As the oceans heat from solar radiation they also heat the air too. The oceans also evaporate more when they are warmer especially down to about 50 feet deep in the ocean. I have Scuba dived off a Boat at Catalina Island and noticed that after about 50 feet the water starts to get colder and colder. The very warmest waters are about from zero to 30 feet down where most of the light is on any given day that the water is clear enough to see down that far. However, where there are waves hitting the shore often this stirs up the sand which creates a state where you cannot see through the water much. All these factors and more are at play 24 hours a day on oceans around the world. 

So, if air at 110 degrees Fahrenheit can hold 8 times the water of Air at 50 Degrees Fahrenheit you can imagine what human beings are in for now throughout this century in regard to extreme flooding.

I was also thinking about when I look 1 million years into the future as an intuitive and see what is then called New Deva (Earth 1 million years into the future) there are no large land masses at all. If I fully understand what happens when at 110 degrees Fahrenheit when air can hold 8 times the water then at 130 degrees Farhenheit it would hold 16 times the water and at 150 degrees it could hold 32 times the water as 50 degrees Fahrenheit it becomes clearer to me now why all the major land masses are gone 1 million years into the future because they likely all washed away by flooding rains and were sand blasted away by blowing sand too. The combination likely could over a million years of earth and rock erosion take away all the continents like I have observed happened on New Deva (Earth) 1 million years into the future.

IF this is true it is possible that the human race does not stop Global Climate change through any known technological means (at least on the timeline we are presently on).

Even though there are no land masses (1 million years into the future) there is still the volcanic vent under the big island of Hawaii which continues for some reason to vent and to create new islands like it has created all the islands up to Midway Island over thousands of years as the tectonic plates move. 

Note: Actually ice like at the polar ice caps reflects the solar heat back into the sky away from the ice and water below. However, meteorologists say that when all the ice melts it will be sort of like when you have a soft drink in a plastic or paper cup at a fair on a hot day. When the last ice melts the drink gets hot or warm pretty fast. The same is likely going to happen to earth if or when all the ice melts off around the world especially at the polar ice caps. end note.

2nd note: Since it looks like continents might be gone eventually maybe the New Devans were right in doing genetic alterations where they turned themselves into amphibians with gills so they could live underwater without land. end note.
