Probabilities Tuesday April 13th

If we start from the flawless logic that "If time travel is possible and if the technology has been invented ANY time or place in the past, present or future then the likelihood that it is here now is about 99%".

Then if we assume that time travel is possible and that as a result time travel is here on earth and because we are talking about time travel, no matter when or where it was introduced is relevant because it is de facto here in ALL earth times. Then we also have to deal with the very real probability of "Time Shards".

Time Shards are like broken pieces of time that are chaotic and that can begin and end suddenly. Now the real likelihood is that all of us here are not on a shard but instead on a main timeline(one of several likely for Earth).

So what would be the use of a time shard? Well. Though there could be many uses let me list a few. One could maroon prisoners there. But this seems unlikely because of the time needed and and the general expense of it. Secondly, one could develop products or services that are not safe to develop in a regular timeline. However, once something was perfected it could then be returned to the main safe long lasting timeline that we likely are already on. Another use for a shard might be to put terrorists there without telling them they are on a shard. So to us they would simply disappear out of our timeline.  And to them they would still think they were in this present day reality but not be. So if they were going to blow something up with nukes it wouldn't matter because all the duplicates of ourselves on that timeline would already be dying horrible deaths because shards are inherently chaotic and that is why they were named shards like pieces of a broken mirror or broken glass from a window pane.
