If you want people to take your kind actions seriously it is very useful to be practicing kindness from a place of strength and not a place of weakness. Though practicing kindness towards oneself and all beings is very powerful it might be carried on and passed on by others in a chain reaction out to all the other beings in the circle of life easier and more fluidly if whatever kindness you do is perceived as coming from a place of strength and not from weakness.
Many people practice kindness because they are afraid not to or just so as not to offend others. But this kind of kindness often is not perceived as genuine but only a form of social politeness and therefore suspect. People will notice if your kindness comes directly from your heart of compassion or is just another plattitude that one does out of fear or politeness. So whenever possible practice kindness from a place of strength because from strength the kindness may grow like a waterfall and into a river which joins and becomes an ocean of kindness. This kind of kindness is incredible and you never know which seed of kindness you plant from a place of strength will ripple out and change all mankind for the better.
