Go In to Go Out

"Go in to go out or go out to go in". This appears to be like some kind of Zen Koan in regard to the philosophic state of what it is like to be human. It is my experience that going deep into my self I found myself out exploring the universe. However, I have heard Astronauts, especially the ones that went to the Moon saying similar things to, "Going into space made them understand everything better about what it is to be spiritual and what it is to be human."

So, as paradoxical as it sounds when you explore deeply inside yourself you wind out exploring the universe and also if you physically explore the universe you will tend to also wind up exploring deeply what it actually means to be human.

It is as if in just being a normal human many of us are in some ways blinded by the overwhelm of our senses everyday and can't see therefore what a human actually is in the context of the whole universe. So, until something exceptional happens either externally or internally we are blinded by sensory overload by things that aren't really that important. So, until we can quiet our senses and look deeper there is no way we can see "Everything" while our external senses are overloaded and we are here on earth. I expect that this sensory overload will likely get worse from technology of all kinds to where less and less people believe in God and spirit and more and more people de facto worship only technology and forget their basic humanness. Even now it is common to meet people who have stopped valuing humans, animals, plants, and "LIFE" and instead emphasize only Technology. This likely will get worse over time as more and more people join with technology as living "psyborgs". So, how will all this turn out? I think all of us that are aware of this problem need to make others aware of the potential problems of interfacing with machines. Because it is a slow steady change from humans who value humans and animals and birds and creatures to humans who might only value machines and technology and stop valuing humans or anything living.
