I left my home on the coast and drove inland, happy to be once again in the sun and off the foggy coast. However, it is also true that without the summer fog high and low our northern coast of California would be brown like everywhere else instead of green mostly with a lot of trees. The trees like Redwoods, oaks and pines and ferns love the misty nights and mornings during the early parts of summer until about July and August yearly.
So, it was a treat to drive in temperatures ranging from the 70s Fahrenheit to the high 80s at 88 degrees the highest temperature. The sun was out and the Thunderheads were out a lot of places too. As we drove south the air was very clear way out to sea so we could even see clearly San Miguel Island 60 miles off shore and of course we also saw Ana Capa, Santa Cruz and Santa Rosa Island as well. Beautiful day. I haven't seen San Miguel Island so clear in many years now while traveling south on 101 from Buelton to Santa Barbara.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
