70s with 90 percent humidity at 8 am in Northern California
This is either very unusual or impossible for the last 16 years or so (take your pick). But, that is what this morning is. It is like waking up in Hawaii only we are in Northern California. I went to sleep in a T-shirt and underwear last night and woke up sweating with just a sheet over me about 7 am this morning. This just doesn't happen here. Just Got a text from my wife who went out early this morning. "It's in the 70s and it's only 8 am." This just doesn't happen around here where I live even in the summer time. IF you drive inland 20 to 30 miles it's now 86 degrees around 8 am. I told my daughter if this keeps up we might have to buy a portable air conditioner too like my daughter in Portland and a friend near by have had to also. Because no one usually has air conditioners here because of the Summer fog which usually keeps temperatures most days between about 50 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit which is why so many want to live here where we live, especially to stay cool outside even in summers. But, like everywhere else this is changing now.
