Iran has now convinced Israel and Saudi Arabia that they are worse than ISIS

I showed the cartoon in the last article to my wife and asked her her opinion. She said, "Well. That's a genuine fear. Whether it is a real fear or not we will have to see.

Because of what Iran has done to Saudi Arabia and Yemen I can fully see why Israel and Saudi Arabia now see Iran as much more of a threat than ISIS.

Here is the reason:

ISIS: at least for now isn't a threat in the short run to IRan.

Isis is actually much more of a threat to all governments in the Middle East. So, possibly it is Iran's strategy (in taking over the middle east completely over time) to let ISIS so destroy everything so IRan doesn't have to do much to take over what is left of the middle East?

This is part of what Iran's strategy likely is.

And one of the countries ISIS might destroy in this process is Israel even though it is allied with Saudi ARabia which is the largest (population wise) single funder by the common people of that nation of ISIS because ISIS' religious philosophy is the closest to Wahabi which is practiced by some Muslims in Saudi ARabia. Wahabi is also the religion that the rulers of Saudi Arabia all Subscribe to as well.

However, ISIS wants to destroy the Saudi Government along with all government in the Middle East.

But, like fighting dogs IRan could usher ISIS like in a moving pen towards Saudi ARabia with it's armies. Also, Iran has veterans from the Iraq-Iran war during the 1980s so they have seasoned troops especially in the officer core still from that war. So, IRan's officer core at the very least is very battle hardened.

This isn't as true of Saudi ARabia or other Sunni ruled nations. And all these nations know this.

Also, there is Yemen.

Think about this. Who is now getting blamed for all the problems in Yemen?

Saudi ARabia in the press.

But, who is causing all the problems in Yemen?

That' right. Iran caused Houthis to take over Yemen by arming them well for years now.

But, do you see Iran getting blamed for this?

No.

Saudi Arabia is getting blamed for preventing a Shiite Government right next to them allied with IRan.

And this is why Both Israel and Saudi Arabia see Iran as a much much bigger threat to both of them than they see ISIS as a threat in the short and long run.

Because it is unlikely that ISIS can overthrow either country.

But, if IRan uses ISIS to soften up Israel and Saudi ARabia, Iran just might end both Saudi Arabia and Israel.

This is the real problem today.

And what will the U.S. do?

The next elected president of the United States is going to find out and have to decide what to do.
