Both Clinton and Trump are "Old Guard" in their thinking

Trump is "Old Guard" in the sense that he still thinks it is okay and won't affect his campaign that he had sex with models as young as 15 and gave them cocaine.

In Hillary's case she appears to be clueless regarding security around computers especially emails.

Both of these things in a way are not unusual for people born before 1950. If I hadn't gotten interested in computers through the TV show Star Trek and before I might not have majored in Computer Data Processing and learned COBOL and FORTRAN and later Basic, MSDOS and everything else up to today you need to know to operate PCs and Macs effectively.

However, it is obvious that Hillary and Bill are in a different direction than this. And it is obvious that (AT Least 10 years ago) Donald Trump was literally grabbing every pretty thing he could by the genitals or breasts still.

So, in some ways both Hillary and Donald are sort of clueless by today's standards of computer savvy and in Donald's case (how to treat women not like animals).

Many if not most women Hillary's age don't know anything at all about computers sort of like the add where the old lady puts a lot of pictures and things on a wall in her house and thinks that is a "Wall".

And in Trump's case he is still operating like it is 1940s to about the mid 1980s where men acted more (who were rich) like he still did (at least until 2005 or after).

Most people stopped acting like this because of AIDS starting in the 1980s.

But, just so you understand just how different it was in the 1950s and 1960s and before, I should probably tell you just how different it was then.

IF young people got married between around 16 or 20 years of age, often it was because they got pregnant and it was a "shotgun" wedding that was forced upon them.

However, it was also relatively normal for 15 year old girls and older to "shack up" with men in their 20s to their 40s if the girls were middle class or below. This often was done by girls who didn't like their parents so they could get free of their parents and have someone to support them financially. I saw a lot of this growing up myself in the 1950s and 1960s.

However, this all changed in the 1980s because of AIDS. AIDS created people taking "Statutory Rape" much more seriously after that because people before this mostly sort of looked the other way when girls wanted to leave home and be supported financially by men a lot before this. But, AIDS changed all this drastically.

In regard to education, most people didn't go to college before the Viet Nam War. Boys went to college mostly in the 1960s so they wouldn't die in Viet Nam. Many many girls followed these boys to college and got Bachelors and Graduate degrees which led to how things are now. But, before the Viet Nam War it wasn't like this at all.

So, to try to compare the way people think and feel to how it was for me growing up doesn't work at all.

You might say, "Oh. Isn't everything much better now?"

NO. It isn't better. It's only different.

For me, at least life was much better in the 1970s and 1980s than now in almost every single way.

Of course I was 33 which is the happiest physical age in the early 1980s.
