How?
The nuclear option is the first reason. When McConnell changed the nuclear option to where 50 votes could put a Supreme court nominee in he made the Supreme Court Ridiculous and not independent anymore. Kavanaugh got less votes than ANY Other nominee in history and still was put in.
The people cannot trust either the Senate or Kavanaugh because of the way everything was done.
The people cannot trust that Kavanaugh did not Sexually assault Ford.
It may be that Kavanaugh blacked this information out because he was too drunk. But, there is NO
Assurance that Kavanaugh did NOT assault Ford. Which is much worse than what CLarence Thomas is accused of.
So, We May have a Rapist in the Supreme Court in addition to the molester of Anita Hill. One was too much.
Two just makes the Supreme Court the laughing stock of the whole world.
Neither the American people or the world will trust anything out of the Supreme Court again as long as Thomas and Kavanaugh are on it.
So, basically the honor and value of the supreme court was done away with as far as the American people are concerned.
Trump has made the Presidency a laughing stock of the world. Now Trump has made the Supreme Court a laughing stock of the world too.
There is no reason to trust anything from either anymore.
This is a real problem for everyone ongoing now.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
