Tantric means "Secret" or "Hidden" but it's not really about sex at all

I think that many people in the western world might think Tantra is "ONLY" about sex and nothing else.

Actually, I would say that Tantric actually means "Secret" or "Hidden" and it is really not about sex at all.

How can I express this best?

I think this way might be the best.

When you build a house you are redirecting your sexual energies in a new creative direction to build this house and it protects you and all the members of your family to come from the weather and from varmints and from people with ill intent.

So, from this point of view it is tantric "Secret" or "Hidden" to build your family for all generations to come this house or home or farm land.

I think this might be the best way to explain what Tantric actually means.

So, Tantric isn't about sex it's about manifesting useful compassionate right mindful power in a really compassionate useful way for everyone around you.

This describes what Tantra is the best that I presently can.
