Almost 12% of all crew on ships moving goods throughout the Oceans of the world are from India now: or 200,000 of them

Most are regular crew members but many are officers on these ships as well. So, if the coronavirus variants from India spread to these ships it might become a problem for getting whatever you are getting shipped to you worldwide over oceans from here on out (at least this year or after). 

So, you can see how a country as big as India having this problem is a disaster for at the very least most of the Asian Countries at this time in world history.
