No one ever spoke to me even once about the 1918 Spanish Flu that killed 50 to 100 million people worldwide as I was growing up!

 This is one of the strangest things of my life. Not one word was ever spoken about the Spanish flu even though 50 to 100 million people died of it around the world then. In other words: "How could no one at all speak to my wife or I regarding something that killed more American Soldiers than World War I did?"

I think we are presently witnessing why. The amount of dead in a pandemic is so horrific and there is no one to blame but God in some ways for most people. So, since blaming God or mother nature might be counterproductive "NOTHING WAS SAID AT ALL TO ANY OF US BABY BOOMERS!"

This is really strange and I hope we aren't as stupid as our forebears and we continue to speak about this pandemic because likely many more are coming because of the mass extinctions worldwide now.
