The name Horatio was inspired by the character in William Shakespeare's Hamlet

The name "Horatio" was inspired by the character in William Shakespeare's Hamlet and chosen also because of its association with contemporary figures such as Nelson.[3]:90 His surname in turn comes from Arthur Hornblow, a Hollywood producer, coworker and a friend of Forester's.[4][5]

end partial quote from:

As in: "There are more things in heaven and earth than have ever been thought of in your philosophy, Horatio!" which is what Hamlet says to Horatio at one point.

"Which says a lot about having a good education and not having a good education worldwide at this point" But, it also says that to know the truth is also difficult because it eventually kills Hamlet.

So, one must be very brave indeed if one wants to know the full truth about everything and everyone. Because knowing the full truth might also be fatal to those not equipped to know the full truth of life in the universe.

I know this from personal experience and watching many people die in various ways because they just couldn't survive the truth when they actually found it out to be beyond what they could actually cope with and live at that time in their lives.
