GET INVOLVED
The WASP Museum is an exciting place to visit. Guests hear stories of triumph, tragedy, and lessons learned while touching and seeing unique artifacts and aircraft. The Museum is so much more, though. It’s a school that goes on tour at airshows and in school districts. It serves as a gathering place for local and regional events. It’s a solemn memorial ground for the ashes of 13 WASP and hosts our yearly Homecoming Weekend honoring our pilots and their families. The Museum is both a place and a mission. To bring our best to every endeavor, the Museum relies on friends to supplement the work of our staff. Please consider ways you can be part of the mission today.

If you are as passionate about the WASP as we are, if you truly believe their story is not simply history to be read in a book, but a light to shine forward for new generations, then get involved with the museum today. We depend on a dedicated and talented group of volunteers, docents, interns, and fellows to complement and strengthen the work of full-time employees.

Membership is the heart of the Museum. For 15 years, admission has been free and school programs, both at the museum and on-site, have been underwritten by private contributors. This model allows everyone to have access to the WASP story regardless of economic status. For as little as $38 per year, 20,000 visitors and students will learn, be inspired, and act because of the WASP.

RENTALS
Set against the backdrop of Avenger field, our hangars are idyllic for concerts, banquets, dances, receptions, and meetings. Our fully equipped catering room in Hangar 1 makes light work of serving food whether it be light appetizers for 100 people or a multi-course meal for 350.
