Why would our government (and other governments on earth) participate in a Fake Alien War upon earth?

 It's actually likely about finding some way to get the human race to survive this next jump in human evolution.

Everything people believe on earth is going to come crashing down likely this century one way or another.

So, rather than have 15% of humanity going insane from the truth and ending human civilization entirely because reality doesn't agree with their religions, maybe the governments being maybe more pragmatic at times than the average human being thinks that a fake alien war on earth is a quicker way to save human civilization.

If you study American history leading up to World War II we were mostly pacifists who didn't want to have World War II start at all for us. But, when FDR (ALLOWED) Pearl Harbor to happen then people got angry and were ready for a fight and we won the war.

I think governments around the world might be creating some kind of pearl harbor scenario to create this fake alien war so some of humanity survives this century. 

This might be what they are thinking.
