I remember when I first heard this position by graduate students at MIT I realized (having been a computer programmer and used to validating logical premises) that this was a true statement in all ways.
In other words: "If someone in ANY galaxy or dimension has invented time travel then it was here when earth was formed and will still be here if earth is melted by the sun or a nuclear blast by human beings or by accident."
When you fully understand this premise "everything you thought you knew or believed changes!"
In other words: "Most of what people believe on earth is old wives tales which has nothing at all to do with reality scientifically."
For example, believing what many people believe about Covid Vaccinations just killed 1 million people who were tested before they died and 9 million Americans untested before they died too (according to CDC estimates) of how many really died in the U.S. beyond the 1 million tested people dying figure.
How does this change people's lives?
Every time line connected to earth has been changes thousands to millions of times already and likely will be changed thousands to millions of time in the future.
How does it affect you?
Everything in your memories likely really happened to you or at least you think it did. But, all history is subject to change thousands to millions or more times into the future of this timeline we are all on now.
So, dying in any war makes less sense when you understand this. However, we all must do what we can live with always or else we won't stay alive very long.
