Moksha: "They apparently want us to teach them to survive with or without a planet"

What did Moksha mean by this statement?

My interpretation of it would be that since the Marauders were kicked off of most planets by their legal systems that they were being "Secretly?" enlisted to help the people of earth (some of them) to survive what  Global climate changes were going to do to earth over the next several hundred years.

If you are older like I am you remember when weather was more predictable than it is now all over the world. I think the most exciting and dangerous example for me personally, was landing in a jet "sideways" on Lihue because of extreme wind shear to the point where even the stewards and stewardesses were talking openly about retiring after that experience. Only the extremely good piloting skills of the pilot kept us from crashing. His quick use (likely reflexively) of the foot pedals by pushing on the right one very very quickly saved all our lives. If you have ever landed in a plane sideways often you wouldn't survive this because the plane would roll over and take off the wings and other stuff.

So, how do you survive without a planet (at least without the planet we presently depend upon?

What do many animals do in a storm that they cannot survive above ground? They dig underground where often they also bear their young. For example, even pet dogs when they were wolves would dig burrows to have and raise their young and to keep them safe from the elements.

And as humans started out often they retreated to caves even before they learned to build deer hide teepees and other types of structures to protect them from the winds and storms which could kill them from hypothermia. They learned to build fires in the center of their tents and other movable structures while they were hunter gatherers until they started to be farmers more at which point they built more permanent structures so they could stay in one place as farmers and herders of farm animals.

So, as the winds and storms increase in speed and ferocity all over the planet and weather changes like through the mega drought the whole western United States has been experiencing since around 2000 AD. This is changing completely how people in the Western United States have to live. In the Midwest and East they are having more and more tornadoes which is ripping down more structures of all kinds too.

All these things are a part of learning how to live "with or without a planet" (at least the planet  as we have known it to be up until now).
