It's idealistic and not realistic to think going all electric as a country is going to solve all our global climate change problems. Why?

Because the other 90% of the world likely isn't going to do this too. So, it won't make much difference if 350 million people in the U.S. do this if 90% or a little over 7 billion people don't go all electric too. It's great that the U.S. and Europe and maybe Japan and Canada and maybe Australia and New Zealand do this. But, what about the other 7 billion people on earth not doing this?

Besides, a long time ago it was discovered that "NO MATTER WHAT WE DO" the climate is going to get worse and worse for 300 years at a minimum. So, after 300 years (even if everyone on the planet changed their ways now) we still might be 90% extinct within 300 years of who we all are now and be living and growing food underground because the winds will blow all the crops and fresh water away on the surface of earth! So, the only people who likely will survive will be using Grow lights and either growing their food inside of buildings with bulletproof and 100 to 500 mph proof windows with Grow lights or something like this with water stored in underground canisters or caverns that will be pumped up to where the crops are being grown with Solar powered pumps. (IF you have a small enough around plastic tubing you can pump easily water up whenever the sun is out with solar power). I have seen this many places including at a private school where my daughter attended growing up which won awards from the State of California and the nation as being a very ecological school regarding recycling building materials and being solar powered including water being pumped up into a water tank which then came down through gravity feed into all the water facilities in the school.
