We are presently 10 degrees Above normal in Temperatures across California and were 10 degrees lower than normal all winter up until a couple of weeks ago

This is melting the snow at incredible rates. However, because state water officials in charge of dams and reservoirs knew this might happen they have had to release enough water from those dams and reservoirs to prevent major flooding throughout the Central Valley of California which includes the Sacramento and San Joaquin Valleys (actually they are one 400 mile long valley running north to south along side the High Sierra Mountain range which goes well over 14,000 feet in elevation.

So, here are some of the 10 degrees above normal temperatures for this time of year all over the state:

Palm Springs 106

Fresno 97

Bakersfield 95

Sacramento 94

Redding 93

Las Vegas 97

Here are the coastal temperatures that also are 10 degrees above normal for this time of year:

Los Angeles 76

San Diego 69

Monterey 67

San Francisco 69

Eureka 62
