The reason for this is how similar this is to just before World War II started. If you remember if you studied history at all, the U.S. was an isolationist pacifist nation just before world war II. The ONLY reason we went to war is that FDR knew about Pearl Harbor and allowed it to happen as a way to save America from destruction.
I hope we don't need another Pearl Harbor to wake up before it's too late this time too?
The Republican House of Representatives are cowards in the face of real world events. And holding up aid to Ukraine especially is a cowardly and suicidal act for all democracies now.
I think we should expect another Pearl Harbor where there is no choice but to go against Putin in regard to Ukraine. I also think Putin Paid (KGB style) for the Hamas Attack which was strategic for taking Ukraine and the rest of Europe which is what he really wanted.
The deceitfulness and machiavellian machinations of Putin it seems are unlimited sort of like an Out of Control Drug Lord at this point, especially in Regard to Navalny's blatant assassination by Putin and then hiding the body so no tests can be done to find the real cause of his death for 2 weeks or more.
