My experience taking Ozempic for one week

I had been given a 1 month sample from my doctor last fall. At first when I wanted to use it I couldn't figure out how to set it for a minimum dose. There are 4 innoculations (one per week) in the device which looks a little like an epi-pen for serious allergies. So, it has 4 needles that are small and pop on and supposedly you don't have to squirt it into the air to get the air out of these kinds of needles. Finally, when i went to my doctor he was able to show me how to not overdose using this innoculation device.

But, there is the really strange part. It so changed my appetite in not a good way (the chemical reactions in my body). So, during the next week I gained 5 pounds. At this point I realized that this medicine wasn't going to work for me to lose weight.

Also, I had heard many horror stories of how people overdosed with these innoculation devices and when this happens you are throwing up and possibly get the runs too like the flu and people are sick at least for a week and many have to go to the hospital. So, this didn't make me want to use this drug either. So, if you accidentally overdose because you don't know how to take the minimum dose on this device sort of expect you are going to be in the hospital for a week recovering too.

However, I learned it just wasn't going to work for me because I had an adverse reaction to it.

I also heard that many people have to take it their whole lives simply because if they don't they are going to gain all the weight they lost back real soon.

These are some of the hard lessons I learned regarding Ozempic.

Also, if you are paying for Ozempic it is about 1000 dollars a month to medicate yourself so imagine having to do this the rest of your life?

And now today it appears to be interfering with Birth Control pills too so women are getting pregnant while overweight trying to lose weight.
