The politically correct era won't work if we want Democracy to continue here in the U.S.

Why?

Because Democracy only works when all point of views (including the ones you don't like) are represented. Firing Professors because they don't agree with you isn't going to work if you want democracy to work too.

I'm not sure how you deal with "Hate Speech" of various kinds but then that is a part of Free Speech.

The alternative to Free Speech is ALWAYS people dying. So, not having free speech just causes people to murder other people when their free speech isn't heard.

This is just a part of human behavior that one really cannot hide from unless you want all sorts of people to die in all sorts of ways.

People are going to think and feel whatever they think and feel. Trying to force everyone to think the same way never really worked and it REALLY isn't working now either.

So, one way to avoid a Revolution or another Civil War is to allow Free Speech. The real war on College Campuses is actually about FREE SPEECH.

Without Free Speech ALL Democracies eventually die and representative government goes away and is replaced by Dictatorships like Trump would create.

One of the reasons Trump might actually win is that Free Speech doesn't even exist on college Campuses anymore. It could be the end of Democracy on earth because of this one thing.

I worry that people are so impractical and unrealistic that they don't understand why this is true.
