True stories

This would be in the 1960s and my Uncle and Cousin went to India to visit Sathya Sai Baba that you can see in the last article I quoted about him from Wikipedia.

They were there and Sathya Sai Baba said to a wealthy man from New York City who had donated a lot of money to Sathya Sai Baba's hospital and foundation in India: "How can I repay you for all you have done for us?"

The man thought a moment and said" "There are a set of Yellow diamonds in Tiffany's in New York City that my wife loves. I would like Yellow diamonds for my wife like those."

Sai Baba put his hands behind his back and came forward with those Yellow Diamonds from Tiffany's in New York City. The man was amazed and said so that these diamonds looked exactly like the ones his wife wanted in New York City.

Then the man flew home to New York City from India and went to Tiffany's because he was curious as to how Sai Baba found these yellow diamonds out of thin air.

He asked someone working there where the Yellow diamonds were his wife liked.

The man looked at him strangely and said: "You know, that was the strangest thing I ever experienced. A man with an Afro wearing orange robes and asked to buy those diamonds for cash. He handed me cash and walked right out the door again.

The man was overwhelmed because he realized that Sathya Sai Baba had manifested a body in New York City in Tiffany's and had somehow bought the diamonds for cash and come back to India with them and he gave them to this man.

Overwhelming isn't it?

The previous experience was likely around 1969 and the following experience was in 1985 and 1986 (the Kalachakra was in December of 1985) and I was in Dharamshala, India with my family in January and part of February 1986.

However, I had a similar experience in Bodhgaya, India where it was supposed to rain on the Kalachakra Intiation by the Dalai Lama of 500,000 people of which I and my family were some of them.

Someone had told me that at the end of this initiation (which was 4 days long) that the sky was supposed to cloud up and it was supposed to rain. At the time I thought: "This cannot happen because there isn't a cloud in the sky today and it's dry and hot and the air smells like burnt plastic and burning Cow dung because that is what the local people used to cook their food on then because they couldn't afford electricity or natural gas or anything else like this.

Well. I was wrong. Sure enough at the end of the Kalachakra initiation (ONLY right over the 500,000 people) it clouded up and began to rain."

I was amazed and realized amazing things happened in India sometimes and Nepal and Tibet too!

Later I was in Dharamshala, India where the Dalai Lama lives on the other side of India at about 6000 feet in the Himalayas and I was talking to someone who had been a Tibetan monk but now spoke good English because he was now a Mountain Climbing Guide for foreigners.

Thubten (was his name because he was Tibetan) and when I mentioned this he said, "You see that guy over there with the long hair in the white robes?"

I said "Yes".

Thubten: "Well. That was the guy who made it rain."

Though I was amazed by this I had already seen so many amazing things in India by then I didn't doubt at all that that was true.

By God's Grace
