Today this location on the 2nd timeline we live on is called "The Dalai Lama Village" but in 1999 when I visited it it was called "The Dalai Lama Camping Club".
I had been in England and in Scotland before this and planned to visit my son and his friend who had just got his Bachelor's degree in Physics from UCSC in Santa Cruz. They were on a Eurail pass for several months and both were around 25 years old and still single. So, when I came to Europe and the British Isles it was October 1999. I first Flew from Heathrow Airport in London to Edinburgh, Scotland because my mother's parents were from Scotland and I wanted her to see where her parents grew up to adulthood after they both were born respectively in Philadelphia (my grandmother) and Boston (my Grandfather) and disasters had happened in both families so they were forced to return to Scotland around 1900 I believe. I know my Grandmother was born in Philadelphia in 1888. Not sure about my Grandfather in Boston.
So, I took my mother and my 10 year old daughter to Scotland to visit Clydebank where my mothers mother was from and Ayr where my Mother's Father was from.
Then we flew back to London and from there flew to Munich Germany to pick up a 6 passenger (6 sleeper) motor home I was renting there for 2 weeks. So, the boys both around 25 were staying at a youth hostel in Munich and they met us I think there and we all went to pick up the motor home in Munich. From Munich we drove to Oberamagau where they have the passion play and we spent the first night there I believe. It was strange on the Autobahn highway then because fast cars like Masaratis and Ferraris were going about 150 to 200 miles per hour and I could only drive at most about 75 miles per hour in the motor home. So, I had to be careful and look back far enough to pass someone when someone might come past us at 150 to 200 miles per hour because then there was no speed limit.
We rented a stick shift Fiat Motorhome which was a diesel which got very good mileage and diesels aren't as stinky in Europe as they are in the U.S. (not sure why the good diesel technologies haven't made it more here to the U.S. from Europe).
Eventually we went into Austria and Switzerland and to Zurich where my relatives came from (that area) in 1725 several brothers came to the U.S. and stayed in Philadelphia then and our relatives have moved all over the U.S. since 1725 now and likely around the world too.
After staying in Zurich I remember driving through the tunnels (which are amazing) on the way to Italy. The Swiss really know how to do amazing tunnels for driving cars and trucks through by the way.
And each time we came out of a mountain after literally driving through it it could be rainy one place then sunny the next then snowing the next. It was all quite amazing weather wise on our way to Aosta, Italy.
I intuitively felt the Crystal Palace on the other timeline and decided one day to try to follow my instincts in finding it. I did find it when I saw the Dalai Lama Camping Club which intersected with my sense of where it was on the 1st timeline.
Also, in Aosta I also saw Elohar and Ragna who must have come through time and their time ship was pretending to be a large Winnebago Motor home that I saw from my hotel window the day I was going to start driving back to Munich with my 10 year old daughter and 80 something age mother. The boys had heade south to the Amalfi Coast where the water was warm and my son saw an octopus there and met people from Australia who saved his life while swimming there. He wrote to them for some time because they all became great friends there in Amalfi, Italy.
So, then I drove home after staying with my daughter and mother at Cristina hotel in Aosta, Italy.
It had a bar down below the hotel so I walked in there and most people could not speak English but one lady understood enough English to rent us a room for the night. It was from this room in the morning I saw Elohar and Ragna through the 2nd story hotel window get out of their motor home and head for the hotel likely for breakfast.
It was an okay place to stay after camping in the Motor home mostly with 5 people total including myself for about a week and a half or so from Munich through to Aosta, Italy. I just needed to recover enough so I could drive the motor home back to Munich to fly my mother and daughter and I back to London where my daughter and I went to a Broadway type of play and we drove also in a rental car to Glastonbury which is an amazing place. Glastonbury is basically "The isle of Avalon" if you have studied about King Arthur and Merlin and all that in legend and history. The lake around the Isle of Avalon has dried up now of course in a different weather cycle than then also. So, it was surrounded still by a lot of sheep grazing where the lake used to be. And Glastonbury Abbey used to be the richest Catholic Abbey in England before King Henry VIII.
