Health is a hard one

Especially when you get over about 40 years old for anyone.

I think i was about 44 years old when I realized something wasn't right with my heart. I woke up and couldn't walk and had to crawl into the bathroom to (I thought at the time die). So, I got into the old Clawfoot bathtub then in 1993 likely and filled it with warm enough water to comfort me as I died.

Eventually I got someone to drive me to the hospital where they told me I had had a panic attack. However, I knew i twas much more than this. So, I tried to find a cardiologist to help me. However, at the time I didn't have health insurance so no cardiologist would see me without health insurance. I remember thinking to myself at the time: "Am I going to die just because I don't have health insurance right now?"

Luckily, I broke up with my wife and married again and this new wife insisted I have full health insurance. This actually saved my life at age 50 because I got a heart virus which often is caused by getting your teeth cleaned at your dentist. You have a 1/1000 chance of getting a heart virus and dying every time you get your teeth cleaned at a dentist by the way. So, taking an anti-biotic might save your life if you get a piece of food (very small) into your blood stream while they are cleaning your teeth and it makes its way to your heart you might be a goner like I almost was from Fall of 1998 until May of 1999. Most people die of this kind of heart virus by the way and I was the only one in California that I knew of who actually survived this.

But full health insurance saved my life and then I was told in fall of 1998 that if I didn't retire I was going to die for sure so I did. Luckily, my wife and I survived all this at the time even though it was hard on all of us because I had a 2 1/2 year old daughter and a 10 year old daughter and a 25 year old son at that time as well as two step kids who would have been 26 and 28 years old then.

So, once you reach about 40 to 45 not having full health insurance could either cause your death or you going bankrupt with hospital bills or both. So, if you are over 40 be sure you have some kind of health insurance so you don't die or go bankrupt or both because of your health.

So, basically from 1998 until around 2006 I sort of believed I was going to die soon. But, I didn't and then in 2006 I got diagnosed with a hypothyroid condition so I started taking Armour Thyroid which doesn't have any side effects like most synthetic Thyroid stuff does. So, then I felt like in my mind at least I was 20 years old again and so far I have made it to 78 years old even though I believed I was going to die around 60 because I was getting Bronchitis about 5 to 7 times every winter. The Sudafed the doctor gave me I often had to take up to a month which causes you to hallucinate when you take it this long too. So, that was awful too.

So, if you want to survive much past 40 it is good to be prepared with full Health insurance.

However, I would say that full health insurance is Very very expensive from age 50 to 65 when you can go on Medicare. For example, I was paying 1,800 dollars a month for full health care insurance at age 64. So, the hardest thing I think is to be able to afford health insurance between ages 50 and 64 before you go on Medicare at 65.

So, Stay alive if you can!

By God's Grace
