when is the next full moon? July 29th 2026 it is called "The Buck Moon"

I was trying to sleep and then noticed the moon was showing through a skylight next to where my wife sleeps next to me and so I realized I could get up and go into the living room and open the shutters and look out and the growing (or waxing moon) which will be full on the 29th which is Wednesday this week. So, I got out my laptop just after midnight and am looking out one of our sliding glass doors at the moon which is nice as a few puffy clouds off the ocean are blowing through the light of the moon but not occluding it. It's a nice treat to see the moon next to one of our Monterey Pine Trees late at night. It's a good experience!
