But, it's also like if you are driving a car and don't want to look at the dead animals who have been hit by cars like birds and dogs and cats and deer and raccoons and skunks and squirrels and everything else. Unless you are paying attention you might hit something you don't want to hit.
So, you watch out for road hazards at the very least or you are off a cliff in your own car or truck and never heard from again.
So, in this sense your physical survival depends upon knowing enough to actually survive your life if you are an adult and not a child.
However, then there is enlightenment and peace and wholeness and nature and everything good in a person's life too.
So, emphasizing things that give you peace in your life like healthy food and living near or in the country (like we live next to the ocean) where if the high fog ever goes away this summer we might see the milky way galaxy above us because of the lack of too many lights like you get in the big city.
So, the temperatures are about 54 at night lately and around 58 to 61 during the day because of the ongoing high fog.
Why is it so cold where we live in summer? Because when it's 80 to 100 degrees or more outside inland it sucks the high or low fog or both off the ocean onto where we live on the northern California coast. Redwoods and Monterey pines and many other plants and flowers like this because they don't dry out here and they can survive on the dew and moisture always at least at night when the fog turns often to mist.
It's why there is a green belt of Redwoods and Monterey Pines from about Big Sur all the way north from here into ORegon and Washington and Canada along the coast starting about Big Sur all the way north along the coast
