My cousins son was working in San Diego and came up to visit us in his converted Minivan too. it was a 2000s model and he had space for his bicycle behind the front seat with the front tire off and had made a cabinet that he stored food on and could sleep there too by taking out the back two seats. He went as far north as Crater Lake in it before he decided to come back to San Francisco to visit his brother. So, I have seen this first hand in how cool a minivan can convert to something good to travel in long distances if one wants to do that.
