My experience soul traveling to the Galactic Core around 1970 was that the Galactic Sentience doesn't see himself as a God or the God. However, it is true he doesn't need a physical body and doesn't have to breathe air or drink water or eat food (at least as we know food) and he can visit any time or space at will or all times and spaces at will instantly and know whatever any being in the galaxy is thinking or feeling if he wishes to. And his natural state is not in either time or space but in Unknown matter or what sometimes scientists call "Dark matter" which is just unknown matter which comprises 96% of the known universe. This is why I relate to him being a little or a lot like Zeus or Odin of the Greek or Norse Pantheons.
But, where this takes me to mostly is that he doesn't rule out that there is a real God, an immortal God that rules over the entire universe either. However, each of us would have to discover this God (if he exists on our own).
His point of view of seeing himself sort of like "The Gardener of our Milky way Galaxy and the regulator of all time lines usually attached to planets and stars but that also can be attached to other things as well, is that he creates order. So, people or beings may think or do all sorts of things but if they don't pass muster with him that all gets changed at some point into some sort of cohesive order that makes sense to him. This way there can be congruency between all the millions or more time lines here in the Milky Way Galaxy.

The Galactic Sentience turns Young Arcane of the 2nd New Devan Timeline into a "Oneness" like His Oneness of Earth who has been a Oneness for about 40,000 years already.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
