Though Rotten Tomato Critics give this 100% rating which is the best you can get when I actually watched a few episodes of this I'm reminded of X-Files and the series Lost the most by this series.
Is that good or bad? I suppose it depends upon who you are. Personally, I have always really liked Julia Roberts movies and there is that about this one too even though she is now 51 and a producer of "Homecoming" as well. There are a lot of moving parts in this series and a big component might be: "Who remembers certain things?" So maybe that is an important catch word here: "Who actually remembers what happened?" And if they don't remember: Why?
So, for me, it maybe takes me to something I have written about regarding soldiers or secret agents where Amnesiacs are given to them so they forget things? I'm not sure at this point. However, I found out about Amnesiacs that they used on my Father in law in the early 2000s when they put him into a induced coma and then gave him amnesiacs to forget the two weeks of hallucinations and dreams in the induced coma because he might not have survived remembering all that.
So, likewise in this movie? Series on Prime Streaming that I stream through my Roku onto my 60 inch flat screen is pretty interesting in an X-files or Lost kind of way. And it's great to see Julia Roberts in something new too!
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
