   blog article I posted a youtube video of a man starting a 2001 Royal Enfield. Since this bike looked like a well kept antique I got curious and looked it up and it turns out that Royal Enfields (including kick starters) based upon a popular 1955 Royal Enfield design are still be manufactured today and I was surprised. For any of you who grew up like I did when all the bikes were kick started (pretty much) it might make you long for one of these classic bikes to remember better the old days when kick starters were the rule and not just the exception.
