Both these articles are interesting: First, the U.S. is banning all airlines from flying over Syria which makes sense when people have missiles that can shoot airliners down like they did over Ukraine. After viewing the photo of the person that fell from 33,000 feet when the Malaysian plane was blown up by a missile and fell through someone's roof next to their bed it in Time Magazine it makes perfect sense not to route a passenger plane over somewhere with missiles that can reach over 70,000 feet like in Ukraine or Syria.
and 2nd Assad wants to be seen as killing Islamic State Militants even though he has made deals with them to kill more moderate rebels by giving them oil and lands.
So, the strangeness of all this just keeps getting stranger. But, it is logical if Assad wants more acceptance from more responsible nations. After all, almost anything is better than the Islamic State beheading 300,000 to 1 million people in the next 6 months or so across both Syria and Iraq and wherever else they might go.
