In a recent article I used this word to describe as an intuitive what I now see in regard to Shias and Sunnis killing each other. Assad started all this by killing Sunni Rebels in Syria. Then ISIL (ISIS) arose in reaction and started killing all Shias, Christians, Yazidis and everyone else that wasn't extremist Sunni. So, the word interminably is applied now to the war between basically all Shias and all Sunnis. How this all will turn out eventually is anyone's guess? However, the U.S. sending ground troops there is a no win proposition because this likely is going to continue for 100 or more years the way things look now. And refugees going to Europe to escape this with their families is not a bad idea because of the interminable nature of all this. Because only warlords fighting with everyone else dead in large areas likely will be the ongoing result for a very long time. The end result of this is not anyone winning at all. This only results in the depopulation of large swaths of the middle east and the complete destruction of all religious and historical monuments of all religions wherever it goes.
