Spontaneous Accomplishment can be a part of the Leisure to Practice

I realized this today. Starting around 1980 I began to become aware of a concept of "The Leisure to Practice". This I was taught by Tibetan Buddhist teachers and students and saw that it was a desirable state not only for myself but for many of mankind.

So, I began to pray for the Leisure to Practice. When It suddenly arrived in 1998 in the Fall I wasn't expecting it and so I almost died of the Heart Virus that brought my Leisure to Practice on.

I had been preparing to work until I died just like most people do on earth until I was forced to retire or die from a heart virus. Then in May when doctors told me I wasn't going to die in May 1999. I was really surprised (even though angels had told me quite loudly ("You aren't going to die. Your life will get better now") over and over again in the fall the morning I thought I was dying when I called my son to take me to the hospital in his car.

So, once again the angels were right after all those months of almost dying like most people did then of a heart virus.

So, suddenly in May after my wife's stepmother had passed away in March and then her mother passed away in April, I was told in May that I wasn't going to die and that my then 2 1/2 year old daughter wasn't going to grow up without a Dad. (She is now in college with a scholarship).

So, now I'm seeing quite clearly that the ability to wake up when you want to in God's arms at peace rather than to an alarm going off most days is one of the ways to spontaneous accomplishment as a practitioner.

Not everyone is so moved to this life. But, some of us are who see praying for mankind as something useful to help mankind (and our families and friends) have decent lives ongoing into the future.

So, if you are someone who knows that praying is useful and that you like "praying without ceasing" for a better life for yourselves and all mankind then maybe you should be praying for "Leisure to practice" too.

Spontaneous accomplishment I would describe as being in the right place at the right time as much time as possible. This is exactly what Jesus and Buddha did when they manifested in all sorts of amazing ways while they were here with us in physical bodies on earth.

So, it seems to me the more we can be like them we honor them and all mankind and all life on earth and beyond.
