Took a party cruise in Oxnard

It was a friend's birthday so they rented a party paddlewheeler in Oxnard and we spent from about 6 to 7 pm until about 10:30 or 11pm cruising inside the breakwater there while dancing the night away at this party on board a paddlewheeler. There was an after party at someone's house afterwards but after driving 5 or more hours to get there from the Bay area we were sort of tired and went back to our place to stay for the weekend. But, it was a really great party for a friend's husband that my wife went to school with in Santa Barbara. So, people came from all over California and as far away as Colorado and Tennessee and Washington State for this birthday party so it was a real blow out party with people from all over the country attending.
