Why I quote and write about the Middle East so much?

I've written about this before but basically it goes like this. What is happening in the middle East because of oil and the humanitarian disasters spawned by Assad, ISIS and Russia and Iran there, what is happening in the middle east cannot do anything but affect the rest of the world in various ways.

One of the results is the massacres of thousands and thousands of people in the last 4 to 5 years now. But, the craziness and murder and mayhem has now created so many deaths and walking wounded that are not being properly cared for. So, people who are half crazy from seeing relatives blown up or tortured and killed and beheaded are multiplying daily. They don't have therapists, food or help and many die. When this happens civilization ends for them and almost any crazy reaction becomes possible not only for them but for their children as they grow up.

This nightmare is spawning thousands and maybe millions of nightmare people in the coming 20, 40, 50 or more years that will have known nothing but the nightmare we read about in the middle east. The problem in the middle east is only going to grow unless it is dealt with in some useful way.

Hiding from it does not solve the problem for the world.

It is likely inevitable that oil will be cut off for days, weeks, months or even years from various oil producing countries there.

So, countries that have solar arrays, wind generators etc. will survive this change the best when it comes in the next 20 to 50 years.

The problem likely will be the 50% of the countries that are the poorest and these governments might collapse under the weight of not enough oil at prices they can afford, to ship food and goods to their people.

The disaster in the middle east will tend to create other disasters in poorer countries around the world and could destablize many countries beyond 3rd world nations as well.

Because of all this the more you and I know about the disaster of the whole middle east at this point, the more we can make informed useful decisions to help ourselves, our families and our friends around the world to better survive the flood of chaos now spreading from the middle east through the sectarian warfare there now.

The present day Cold War Proxy Wars are Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Ukraine. However, in the Middle east it may spread soon into Lebanon too driven by ISIS after Hezbollah after Syria falls. What a mess!
