Shock and Awe: The Story of Revelations and Revolutions

    1. i found this interesting documentary narrated by a British gentleman about electricity. The sort of Start with Marconi and Lodge and other scientists and then bring you through Crystals in relation to  radio transmissions, through crystals being incorporated within vacuum tubes for various purposes on up to Transistors (many think transistors actually came from Roswell) in 1947(which are a micro version of some types of Vacuum tubes). Then they talk about Shockwell who helped by his difficult personality create the dynamic of Silicon Valley and microprocessors on up to today with superconductors which are what we need now for more efficient use of energy in everything we do, especially at work or at home. And he says that Superconductors are going to usher in a whole new world of possibilities in regard to technology just like all the other breakthroughs have already.
