It has drizzled or the closest thing to rain last night on the coast where the ground and deck were both wet this morning in the back yard on the northern California coast where we live.
So, we set out south on 101 towards Southern California for Fireworks with our oldest daughter and her husband who are coming up from San Diego to meet us somewhere around Santa Barbara.
The day went fairly smoothly as we picked up one of our daughter's High School friends who is now in college. She needed a ride to be picked up by her college boyfriend in Santa Barbara. He was driving up from the Greater Los Angeles area to pick her up. We just saw them off for the weekend.
So, the weather here is sunny and nice. It's about 70 degree here at about 5 pm near the beach. The 4th is tomorrow.
Have a Happy 4th of July Everyone!
