However, yesterday my wife had an operation on her knee and the anesthesiologist had been skiing in Antarctica. So, I began doing research about this. One of my thoughts was when my wife said, "It doesn't snow in Antarctica because it is the driest place on earth. ???
But, if this is true when did all the snow come down?
Also, though it is very windy there what happens when a whole lot of skiers go down slopes that NEVER melt but where snow keeps blowing around (sort of like sand dunes) in the winds?
These are all questions I don't have answers to.
Anyway, I found out that one airline actually flies to Antarctica now called DAP airlines. But, I couldn't find much about this. However, I did find this:
