I was raised in the 1950s and the early 1960s when it was "Better dead than Red" which also meant we should all die before we gave into communism worldwide then.
However, this kind of thinking I also see in Trump in the way he is moving now. It isn't logical (if you want to stay alive) but Trump is entering the ending phases of his life and business already (unless he lives to be 100 or more).
But, follow my logic: The Republican White people in the U.S. are desperate. Trump is the last hope of White Republicans. He is likely the last Republican of note they ever have an actual chance of voting into office as president ever just because of demographics alone.
It is sort of like: "If we white Christians who are Republicans cannot rule the world then no one else will either because we are going to nuke it out of existence."
I'm getting this kind of feeling from this election right now that reminds me a lot of apocalyptic Christian thinking in the 1950s and early 1960s when the Viet Nam War got really going too. For example, more young men died my exact age than any other born in 1948 at that time during the Viet Nam War. So, this is very personal for me too on this level.
So, this might be exactly what is happening now. The Whites of the world are desperate and willing to do anything including nuking the whole world out of existence rather than giving up the power they had for centuries already.
This might sound crazy to you but I grew up white and white people CAN be this crazy, I saw this growing up. Remember I was raised a very Conservative Republican and didn't change to an independent in my thinking until my 20s when I realized how badly poor people were being treated worldwide by rich white people at that time. Though things have changed a lot now people need to be concerned about Christian Republican Apocalyptics all planning to nuke out through Trump's presidency.
In other words many might believe the "Rapture" might be brought on by the end of Earth itself while it turns into an Asteroid belt like the one our ancestors already created 65 million years ago out past Mars from the planet Maldek they lived on then.
Part of the logic:
If you research you will see that there are at most 1.3 billion white people on earth. Considering there are around 8 billion people on earth they are 1/8th to 1/7th the population of earth. Then if you consider that there are only 300 to 400 million white men on earth at present you begin to see the problem white people are having worldwide.
Also, the educated in the U.S. who are both white and Republican are very aware of this and nuking out is one option rather than giving up power to any other group or groups.
So, I think this is a factor like no other in this election now in regard to Trump.
In fact, since both Putin and Trump are 1950s thinkers they might agree that it is time to nuke out rather than give up the reins of white power worldwide to other groups.
Since many groups are not educated to practice birth control like White people do nuking might be the only logical outcome for both Trump and Putin in the end.
And this would be the end of all of us.
There would be no coming back from this.
