White Tara and the 21 Taras of Tibetan Buddhism

I first became more familiar with the 21 taras in the 1970s and by 1980 I had my first Tibetan Buddhist initiation and empowerment in Ashland Oregon in 1980 with Gyultrul Rinpoche who is a Nyingma Lama of that Tibetan Buddhist Tradition. He gave me and my family and about 100 others the "Sword which pierces all defilement" also called the 1000 Buddhas initiation.
