As of 10 PM PDT they are worried about it hitting Melbourne, Florida north pretty hard. The biggest problem appears to be 7 too to 11 foot storm surges with waves on top of this. So, for example, it hits and apartment building and takes out all the ground floor windows as well as the 2nd story windows along the coast. They also said they were worried about storm surge and flooding inland hitting each other and causing terrible problems for houses and businesses by compounding hte problems related to flooding. also this is a very slow moving storm with incredible amounts of rain that likely are going to cause awful flooding inland. So, as this stuff all meets in the middle this is going to be problematic in many directions at once they say. also, it may double back on itself as a weaker storm and hit Miama again as a 45 to 60 mile per hour storm at that point. Very strange.
