I didn't have a really great feeling about traveling today even though in the end it worked out okay. It was sunny and warm the whole way down to Santa Barbara and further south. The fires seem to be mostly put out between SF and there except for the Loma fire in the Santa Cruz mountains and didn't notice smoke from the Soberanes Fire in Ventana but I wasn't really looking for it either at this point. IF it was still blowing it must be blowing out to sea or something at this point. My wife and her friend from Italy went to the outlets to Sacs 5th avenue or something and I stayed out in the heat and smoke from the fire a week or so ago on our way to SF airport and our friend flying home to Italy I believe. So, this time it is an Indian Summer with weather in the 80s Fahrenheit. The highest Temperature we have seen so far I think is about 86 degrees on the way down. But, people are loving it at all the beaches. Friends of ours just flew to Maui and sent back pictures of them on the beaches there which are like here only more humid right now.
We also didn't notice any smoke from Vandenburg base either so that means it is either out or blowing out to sea because it was very clear going by Pismo near there. We timed the traffic pretty good too, so we were mostly okay that way too.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
