Here' the thing. Do the people you listen to need your money to run their churches or to do whatever they are doing?
If the answer is "Yes" you also need to think more about this. It's not that people who need your money shouldn't be asking for money from you. It's really about: "How much can you trust people who are trying to talk your money out of you?" "Should you believe ANYTHING they say or should you just run away right then?"
This becomes harder if you and your whole family are members of a church or group like this but this is also something to think about seriously. Because the more people are trying to talk you out of your money the more likely you should walk or run away somewhere else or just say "No!".
And the more money you might have the more likely more people are going to be trying to talk you out of some or all of it. So, this is something to think more about too.
You have no obligation to give anyone any money at all. However, if the spirit moves you and you can actually afford to help people this might be a different story.
But, remember what I'm saying here, "Think carefully about what you are doing."
In many people's lives a little or a lot of money is power and what are they going to do with it and what are the short and long term ramifications of all this?
I know thinking this way is a mind breaker sometimes. But this appears to be how God trains us to be the most helpful to mankind too. By learning Discernment we serve God and Life much better. The more efficient we are at helping the people around us the better God does in all of us.
