This seems to be the biggest change as I study world news on the subject. Never has there been a year when so many people in so many different countries around the world have been dying from the heat and humidity in anything I have seen so far as this year. And it isn't stopping but continuing. The worst places seem to be when the heat hits their monsoon season which seems to make it particularly deadly.
Though people die too in the west of the United States, in the west generally speaking it is much drier so the heat (even into the 100s) is often survivable because through evaporation people can cool down enough to stay alive and to make their brains work. But, places where the humidity is too great people have no chance to survive without air conditioning. And once someone's brain stops making good decisions from the heat it is often all over for that person so if that person is not rescued by someone whose brain IS still working it is soon all over for them and they are gone.
To make this 100 times worse the Trump Administration is not addressing this problem at all and is doing almost everything to make it even worse than it has to be as well as pretending it isn't happening at all.
This is just exponentially increasing the deaths from heat and humidity worldwide as well.
So, year by year this likely is going to get worse and unless people plan very carefully for their survival through these times they won't survive them. And this is worldwide.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
